ABOUT US
TONY MCMAHON
Tony McMahon has always known how important an education is to a child's future success. Raising three children, he was committed to helping them receive the best education possible to ensure their future happiness. He realized and has done extensive research in proving how important focus is in learning.
McMahon was an avid golfer but was frustrated with his scores and ability to focus. As a professional golf teacher he invented the SmartVision glasses and developed a method of teaching which allows individuals to tap into the mind's eye, creating greater focus on each and every golf shot. Results brought lower golf scores. Using the SmartVision Method Tony himself improved his score from 140 to the low 80's. Many of his students shared that they also experienced improved focus and concentration in other areas of their lives.
In early 2007 Tony completed additional research and compiled his SmartVision Method for education. Though there have been 117 requests for patents in the past 95 years for similar products, Tony has been awarded the only patent in the U.S. for his glasses because they are the only product like this that works.
Besides his commitment to education Tony has an extensive background as an businessman and inventor. He was President of Rapid Masonry Equipment, Inc. and he invented specific machinery for that industry. In Ireland, he owned and operated a pre-cast concrete products company and a stone and steel fabricating business.
McMahon holds two additional U.S. Patents, two European Patents and three pending patents, and he received the prestigious 2001 National Product Design Engineering Award. He has earned the Master Teachers Certification from the Professional Golf Teachers Association of America.
His original teaching aid, Golf-Spec, sponsored PGA pro and teacher Jeff Thompson, who qualified for the PGA Champions Tour and who credits his success to Golf-Spec. According to McMahon, "If Golf-Spec's SmartVision glasses do this for a PGA Pro, what can they do for you?"
